Emotions matter

Emotions matter in the workplace because they can impact job satisfaction, productivity, relationships, decision-making, and workplace culture. By recognizing and managing emotions, individuals and organizations can create a more positive and productive work environment.

People who become victims of sexual assault typically experience the victimization as a traumatic event. There are common reactions to this kind of trauma or shock; but at the same time, each person responds in her own unique way.  Be sensitive to emotions.
